Meeting Aisha and our work together was a highlight of 2022 for me, starting at an erotic life drawing class in the summer. I’d felt a strong pull to take part even though it was completely out of my comfort zone and I found the experience empowering, liberating and life-changing. I have gone from someone who previously hated their body to now life modelling on a regular basis and the confidence to do so is down to the intimate and safe space Aisha held in that time.
I now have the pictures framed on my bedroom wall and use the feelings of admiration for my body in that moment as a reminder of the positivity and strength of love I am capable of feeling for myself. After this initial meeting I followed Aisha’s’ informative yet playful social media and shortly realised I needed to invest in some coaching sessions with her. I wanted to open myself up more to touch and play as these were elements of my life that had been sorely missed for a number of years. I have worked with a great number of therapists in different forms over the years and as much as many quote themselves as holding “non-judgemental space”, Aisha is the only one I (and my body) have felt that to be 100% true with. My final transformation of the year facilitated by Aisha was an offering to the experience of a Lomi-Lomi massage. I purposefully did not research it but followed my body's “yes” and went in with no expectations.
Due to a lot of physical trauma and being simply too scared to let people touch me for a number of years, I could not have imagined a more gentle yet powerful and necessary way to end those years of fear and physical isolation. Not only was the massage itself wonderful, enabling release, reconnection and greater embodiment but I am also still feeling the effects of the spiritual and emotional healing a number of weeks afterwards. I am able to access emotion and vulnerability in a way never known before, my heart has stayed open and my drive for pleasure has returned to a level not felt in years. I have been able to remove emotional and physical blocks between myself and family members held for decades, the healing effects of Aisha’s touch have not only been felt by myself but continue to ripple out to others too.
It is miraculous. In many ways this year I have come home to myself after years of being alone in the wilderness and for that, I’m not sure there will ever be enough words to express the gratitude I feel for meeting Aisha and experiencing her presence. Aisha is as is her work; gentle, powerful, beautiful and disarming. She is an embodiment of true goddess energy - which I do not say lightly - there is something about her energy and work which unlocked my heart in a way I have only previously experienced through divine love.
